Collect the following materials: a) Your perfume beads, b) Fragrance Oil (Oil Based), c) Oil based color, d) A mixing jar (Glass is best) or zip lock bag, e) Your finished packaging. Step 1 - Prepare your oil based fragrance. You will need approximately one tablespoon for fragrance/color mix for 3 to 4 tablespoons of beads. If you want to color your beads add approximately 1 to 2 drops of oil based color to the fragrance. Mix completely. Step 2 - Pour your fragrance/color mix into a zip lock bag or glass jar. (The glass jar needs to have a sealing top or lid.) Add your fragrant beads and stir the fragrance/color into the beads. Step 3 - Close the bag or jar and shake the mix often. Different fragrance will absorb at different rates. It can take two to seven days for the beads to absorb the fragrance/color mix. If you still have a pool of fragrance/color after seven days try adding some more beads. The beads will be ready when they feel dry...not seeping or bleeding. Step 4 - Place the beads into your packaging for display or sale. HAVE FUN! Note: Try mixing different colors, blending them or making a rainbow effect.
